I did my undergrad at Virginia Tech and I'm interested in controlling robots in unknown environments. With BIRDS, I have an interesting project using cheap distance sensors on the legs of BigANT to sense its state and be able to climb stairs. There is also a new wireless ESP control board and I'm helping implement that for the BigANT.
